Yes, there are 601 posts on the blog. And unlike bottles of beer on the wall, these stay, and are even added to. I started blogging in April 2008; the need to express myself was so great then that there were days when I made two or even three posts. Now, here it is four days since my last post. The anguish and frustration which fueled me in the beginning are still there, but transformed into a more manageable self-awareness and understanding. Perhaps, too, I have been transformed from writing the pain, to being a writer of pain--and happiness (occasionally).
I cannot express how thankful I am for those of you who have come by and read my posts, whether you have left comments or not, because it is what makes me realize that I am communicating, that what has seared me is being heard and contemplated, and, perhaps, has helped someone else.
As always, welcome and thank you.
Congratulations on your 601 posts. A little bit more and you will reach 1000. Let your thoughts flow and you will have your book ready soon as well. Ciao. A.

Laura you have come so far since I started reading you. 601 posts! Wow! I can't even imagine since it seems nearly impossible for me to post most of time. I am thankful too and yes I do believe you have helped people with your story.

Congrats on 601 posts! And I was happy to have just reached 100! Posts are coming from me less often too. Sometimes I feel like I run out of topics, and then I think the topics out there are endless.

You have helped me - in many ways.
And I thank you.

601 posts, good grief! That's impressive. And yet your writing remains fresh and full of insight. Here's to another 601!

Antonella, I'm glad that some of the flow has stopped. I don't see myself blogging again from a locked bedroom while a crazy man rants at me. At the freedom to flow undirected.
Lori, thanks, as always for your boost. As I said, I'm posting less. I guess it's true that we write more when we have more anguish in our lives.
Bonnie, the ebb and flow of writing, like life. I'm thinking that sometimes it's good to go with the flow.
Beth, a connection and understanding found on the blogosphere.
JC, maybe I'll turn some of the insight to outsight.
MTAE, through writing the posts and reading the comments I have learned that support is not a crutch--it is a foundation.
