Thanks for your thoughts on the post today. I agree with you that it would suck to spend 10 years doing something that would make them miserable and each person does have the right to change ladders...I guess I hadn't really looked at it from that angle.
As for how I feel when I get home from work, it really depends on the day...most of the time I'm drained from the mind numbing work and lack of sunlight...but somedays it all clicks and I walk out of there feeling like I could do anything. Those are the days that make every other day worth it!

Balance, is the key. As long as we know there will be good days, the bad ones are palatable. Another key, not letting the bad ones weigh more than the good ones.
Back to your post, I tried to convince a niece that just because she spent one year in college studying something is not a reason to commit to that for the rest of her life. She didn't get it: she was just looking at credits taken, not life to live.
