It makes me sad. There is so much pain in the world and many times there's nothing we can do about it. So I feel sad and move on, but try to make a difference where I can.

Good question. Sometimes I think i can heal it in a way and I go out and give LOVE as much as I can. And sometimes I stay inside and pretend that it doesn't exist.

La, la, la, la...I can't hear you. Maybe I'll open my eyes when I get my mood stabilizers stabilized.

I got my master's degree in Conflict Studies thinking that I would be able to do something other than cry when I read the newspaper. Unfortunately a "save the world" job did not come through. I'm hoping that my teaching is my little drop in the bucket. And maybe it's just my hoping it is that is enough, at least for me, to think that we really can be more than an individual, or an individual inspired and inspiring.
