What song do you play over and over, never seeming to tire of hearing? Why do you think that's your song (at least for now)?

One song is Comfortably Numb by Pink Floyd. David Gilmour's epic guitar solo outro is one of the most amazing recordings ever.
Another is Interstate Love Song by Stone Temple Pilots. It has an odd sort of modern twist on the Blood Sweat & Tears sound of the seventies.
Plush, also by Stone Temple Pilots. I never get tired of the augmented jazz chords thrown together with grunge power chords. And it's got an oddly bluesy feel that I can't quite explain.
Counting Blue Cars by Dishwalla. I love the sustained minor chords.
While My Guitar Gently Weeps (amongst many by The Beatles) because I can't get enough of the flat-picked, muted bass guitar that drives the song.
Wow. How much room do I have here...

Geo, thanks for the ideas for some songs to listen to on the rainy days that are heading our way.

Right now, I really like "Freckles" by Natasha Beddingfield and I frequently listen to Il Divo; anything of theirs. Old Bob Dylan stuff and my all time favorite song that I could listen to over and over again would have to be Ooo,Ooo, Child by the Five Stair Steps.

Songs for a rainy day... Hm...
Electric Light Orchestra, Concerto For a Rainy Day/Thunder & Lightning
London Town, Paul McCartney & Wings
Disintegration, yes, the entire CD, by The Cure
If you happen to be driving in the rain...
Depeche Mode, Fly On the Windscreen
And maybe some Carpenters just for fun...

My favorite song to listen to is "Golden" by Jill Scott. There is a part of the lyric that says, "taking back my freedom, taking it off the shelf..now i'm living my life like its golden." I think that is my song because I am trying to gain back control of my life and it always motivates me to remember how I really want to live and feel concerning my life.
